Hlee is a seasoned multimedia producer with over 20 years of experience in the field. Since 2012, she has provided a diverse range of services to clients across the state, officially establishing her business, the other media group, in 2017. Hlee specializes in comprehensive management, leadership, and media services. Her approach is deeply rooted in authenticity, leveraging her own experiences of success, challenges, resilience, and determination to inform her work. What sets Hlee apart is her ability to envision the bigger picture, strategically chart the course, and effectively execute the necessary steps to achieve client objectives. 

Hlee embraces a collaborative approach, having partnered with over 90 institutions since 2012. By harnessing their collective expertise alongside her technical insights and storytelling capabilities, she effectively enhances project outcomes. Hlee’s exceptional organizational and project management skills, combined with her talent for gathering and communicating information allow her to streamline processes and foster collaboration. She adeptly applies her producer skills to meticulously manage every detail of her projects, from scheduling meetings to editing various media formats, thereby enriching the experiences of all involved. 

Hlee holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of St. Thomas. She has an extensive background in media, having served as a documentary producer at Twin Cities Public Television, the communications director for an environmental organization, and the managing editor of a local digital news platform, and, most recently, she served as the Vice President of Programming at AMPERS (Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations), where she was responsible for overseeing the production of various radio programs and podcasts, in addition to managing people and operations. Hlee actively participates as the producer, co-host, and co-creator of the podcast and radio program Counter Stories. Additionally, she serves on the board of the arts organization In Progress.
