Dr. Yvette L. Pye is a geographer, educator, researcher, and systems-change practitioner whose work brings a spatial and community-centered lens to questions of policy, institutions, and social conditions. Her expertise in urban social geography supports analysis of how demographic change, place, resources, public policy, and community experience interact. She has worked with Dendros on strategic-planning engagements where stakeholder research and secondary research were used to deepen an organization’s understanding of its operating environment, market and community trends, and the implications of changing social, economic, and political conditions.

Dr. Pye’s strength is connecting research to strategy. She is experienced in teaching adult learners and leaders, building cultural competence, and using research to help organizations examine assumptions and understand the systems in which they operate. For the Lottery, that perspective can strengthen analysis of changing audiences, stakeholder groups, public-policy effects, geographic and demographic patterns, and the unintended consequences of institutional decisions. Her combination of geography, stakeholder research, policy analysis, and systems thinking complements the team’s executive, communications, and organizational-change expertise.
