Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Articulate aspects of their own racial socialization.

• Name at least 2 examples of historical institutional racism.

• Identify at least 2 radicalized instances of patterns, coded language and/or institutions.

• Increase understanding of the interplay of racism, autism, and distances.

• Practice at least 2 strategies for interruption and allyship when noting any racial, autism, and or distances patterns or behaviors that may cause harm.

This workshop is an American Sign Language centric training. We welcome those who would rather engage in spoken English at another event.
